Follow the steps to connect your Altair Astro Filter Wheel to your Altair Hypercam CMOS camera using the optional Tilt-Adjuster Plate.

Step 1 – Remove Camera Faceplate.

Step 2 – Faceplate is removed and now ready to connect the Tilt Adjuster.

Step 3 – Separate the Tilt Adjuster Halves by loosening the larger silver screws.

Step 4 – Tilt Adjuster halves are now separated.

Step 5 – Use the included screws to attach Tilt Adjuster lower half to the Camera.

Step 6 – Attach Tilt Adjuster to Camera with 4x silver screws.

Step7 – Place the other half of the Tilt Adjuster on top of the lower half and select the silver M2.5 screws.

Step 8 – Replace the Tilt Adjuster screws from the rear to re-connect the Tilt Plate halves.

Step 9 – Open the filter wheel by removing the small black screws around the periphery.

Step 10 – Position filter wheel like this with purple cover facing downwards and remove the small screws around the centre Carousel-hub. You can then remove the Carousel in order to access the holes used to attach the filter wheel to the Tilt Adjuster.

Step 11 – You now have access to the holes used to attach the filter wheel to the Tilt Adjuster.

Step 13 – Use the Silver Countersunk M2.5x8mm screws to attach the filter wheel to the Tilt Adjuster. Replace the Carousel and the filter wheel cover, and you are done. The Tilt Adjuster can still be accessed from the rear of the camera for tilt adjustments.
