GPCAM3 385C Colour Astronomy Camera
The Altair GPCAM3 385C uses an extremely sensitive full HD colour sensor developed by Sony for industrial applications. A diagonal size of 8.35mm (Type 1/2) and 2.13 Megapixel 1920×1080 effective resolution make this camera ideal for EAA (Video Astronomy) and Deepsky imaging.
The GPCAM3 383C is also a strong performer for solar system “lucky” imaging with a high frame rate of 127fps in 8bit mode, and a larger sensor than similar cameras with 3.75 µm pixels.
- Dual USB3.0 and USB2.0 compatibility. A USB3.0 cable is included.
- The front C/CS-Mount thread makes this camera easy to use with CS and C-Mount lenses (5mm extension required) for meteor capture, microscopy imaging and industrial inspection in low light, or high magnification scenarios.
- A 1.25″ Astronomy compatible nose-piece is included, which has a 1.25″ standard filter thread for astronomy filters or 1.25″ reducing lenses.
- Includes an ST4 port and cable for direct auto-guiding.
