How do I focus the MG60 guide scope?

1: Attach your camera to the MG 60. Make sure that the focus adjustment barrel is rotated all the way inwards.

2:  Point the MG60 at a distant terrestrial object ( a tree, aerial etc) or a bright star.

3: Rotate the focus adjustment barrel until you attain focus. This can be monitored via live view or simply taking very short exposures through your capture software.

4: Once you have attained focus you can rotate the locking ring on the focus adjustment barrel in the direction of the front of the camera to lock the focus position.

If you still need extra length for attaining focus you can unlock the rear locking ring and twist the rear focus barrel to extend it. When you have reached the desired extension tighten up the rear locking ring.
