Step1: First, you must create an account and sign in to the www.altairastro.help website to download camera software. To create an account, click “Register” in the top menu. If you already have a user profile and password, but have forgotten it, click “forgotten password” for a password reset email. Please note: The support login you create is completely separate and distinct from the main online shop profile.

Step 2: When you have signed in, a new “Downloads” link will appear in the top menu here:

Step 3: Always download AltairCapture first and install it to enable the Altair system drivers. Failure to do so could impair the performance of your camera with other software, even if it includes the native Altair drivers.

Step 4: Download the Altair ASCOM driver if required.

Step 5: Wait for clouds to clear…!
